Tucumán (Spainyie pronunciation: [tukuˈmɑn]) is the maist densely populatit, an the smawest bi laund aurie, o the provinces o Argentinae. The wird "Tucumán" is likely a deformation from the Quechua leids. It mey be a deformation o the term "Yucumán", which denotes the place o oreegin o several rivers. It can be a deformation o the wird "Tucma" an aw, which means the end o things. Afore the Spainyie colonization, the region wis in the ooter limits o the Inca Empire.[2]
