The Jester Race is the seicond album bi the melodic daith metal baund In Flames. It is the first album tae featur Anders Fridén as the baund's vocalist an Björn Gelotte as the drummer. A video for the sang "Artifacts of the Black Rain" wis released an aw. It wis the first album tae featur the Jesterhead, the baund's mascot an aw.
Efter releasin The Jester Race, the baund then toured wi Samael, Grip Inc. an Kreator.[4] The album wis the baund's seicont full-length album released follaein the mair mainstream success o the 1994 EP, Subterranean. The Jester Race wis recordit at Studio Fredman bi Fredrik Nordström, who contributit keybuirds for the album an aw.
The Jester Race is considered ane o the greatest metal albums o aw time.
