Whit's Woodkerns?

The claims regarding the speakers of Ullans in this article are entirely POV, seem reminescent of politically charged pseudo-history and are frankly indefensible. An Siarach

A daursay ye'r richt but A di' ken eneuch tae pit it richt. Cuid ye mibbe be bauld an chynge it? E'en gin ye mak some chynges in the English an we'll pit thaim ower intae Scots efterhaund. Mendor 15:29, 21 Februar 2006 (UTC)[Replie]

TBH its not a matter of re-writing the material regarding the alleged historical status or ancestry of Ulster Scots speakers but quite simply deletion as its untrue. Ive edited the questionable bits out of the article. Thanks for the offer to translate bits from English into Scots - i might put some material up at a later point. An Siarach

Nae tae critcise oniebodie or oniething, bit this airticle seems mair lik an owerview o the early history o Scotland nor an airticle aboot the Scots Gaelic leid itsel. A'm thinkin we cuild impruiv it gin we talked a bittie mair aboot the leid nooadays an a bit less aboot Scotland back in the dark ages. A'm a wee bit concernt aboot the comments aboot Pechtish an aw. Linguists differ aboot whither Pechtish wis a Brythonic Celtic leid or if it wisna e'en an Indo-European leid at aw. Gin we're gaunae talk aboot the Pechtish in this airticle A'm thenkin it wuild be a guid idea tae pit something in thare that says that. Crazygraham
