Tahoua is a ceety in Niger an the admeenistrative center o the Depairtment o Tahoua an the lairger Tahoua Region.[1] It haes a population o 99,900 (2004). The ceety is primarily a mercat toun for the surroondin agricultural aurie, an a meetin place for the Taureg fowk frae the north an the Fulani fowk frae the sooth. Phosphates an gypsum are mined there as well.
