Styrie (/ˈstaɪriə/, German: Steiermark, German pronunciation: [ˈʃtaɪ.ɐmaʁk] (
listen), Slovenie: Štajerska, Hungarian: Stájerország) is a state or Bundesland, locatit in the sootheast o Austrick. In aurie it is the seicont lairgest o the nine Austrian federatit states, coverin 16,401 km². It borders Slovenie as well as the ither Austrian states o Upper Austrick, Lawer Austrick, Salzburg, Burgenland, an Carinthia. The population (as o 2011) wis 1,210,700. The caipital ceety is Graz (255,000 inhabitants).
