Shuya (Roushie: Шу́я) is the third lairgest toun in Ivanovo Oblast, Roushie; locatit on the Teza River. Population: 58,486 (2010 Census);[3] 62,449 (2002 Census);[9] 69,362 (1989 Census).[10]

Bi the 19t century, Shuya wis developit intae a major flax-processin centre, tho it haes been syne supersedit in importance bi the neebourin toun o Ivanovo.
