Ramallah an al-Bireh Govrenorate
The Ramallah an al-Bireh Governorate (Arabic: محافظة رام الله والبيرة) is ane o 16 Govrenorates o Palestine. It covers a lairge pairt o the central Wast Bank, on the northren border o the Jerusalem Govrenorate. Its destrict caipital or muhfaza (seat) is the ceety o al-Bireh.[1][2]
Accordin tae the Palestinian Central Bureau o Statistics (PCBS), the destrict haed a population o 279,730 in 2007.[3] Its governor is Said Abu Ali.[4]
