Peixoto de Azevedo is a ceety locatit in the state o Mato Grosso, Brazil. On 29 September 2006, the wreckage o the Brazilian Gol Transportes Aéreos Flicht 1907 laundit approximately 200 kilometer (120 mi) east o the town.

The nearbi Alta Floresta Gowd Province comprises 38 gowd mines. [1]
