Pedro Domingo Murillo is a province in the Bolivie La Paz Depairtment. It wis creatit on 8 Januar 1838, wi the name Cercado an on 17 October 1912, durin the presidency o Eliodoro Villazón, its name wis chyngit in honor o Pedro Domingo Murillo, protagonist o the revolution o 16 Juin 1809.[1]
The province contains the Bolivie admeenistrative caipital, La Paz, as well as the major ceety o El Alto.
