/ˈɒksfərdʃər/ or /ˈɒksfərdʃɪər/; airchaically the Coonty o Oxford; abbreviatit tae Oxon. frae the Laitin Comitia Oxoniae ("Coonty o Oxford", which city is Oxonia in the nominative case)[2] is a coonty in the Sooth East region o Ingland.
