NGC 1300 is a barred spiral galaxy aboot 61 million licht-years away in the constellation Eridanus. The galaxy is aboot 110,000 licht-years across; juist slichtly lairger nor oor ain galaxy, the Milky Way. It is a member o the Eridanus Cluster, a cluster o 200 galaxies.[3][4]
