Mazaltepec Zapotec, kent as Etla Zapotec an aw, is a divergent Zapotec leid o the Mexican state o Oaxaca. It staunds apaurt frae ither varieties o Zapotec; it haes anerly 10% intelligibility wi San Juan Guelavía Zapotec (at least wi some varieties, as that mey no be a single leid), but zero intelligibility wi ither varieties o Zapotec that have been testit. The moribund Tejalapan Zapotec mey be closer.
