Madruga is a municipality an ceety in the Mayabeque Province o Cuba. It is locatit in the eastren pairt o the province, atween Matanzas an Güines.
It wis foondit in 1803.[1]

In 2004, the municipality o Madruga haed a population o 30,640.[3] Wi a total aurie o 464 km2 (179 sq mi),[2] it haes a population densitie o 66.0 /km2 (171 /sq mi).
In 1940, the municipality wis dividit intae the barrios o Concordia an Cayajabos, Este, Itabo, Majagua, Oeste, Sabana de Robles and San Blas.[1]
Efter 1973, the municipality includes Madruga, Aguacate, Viviendas Campesinas, La Granja, Cayajabos Pipián an Flor de Itabo.
