Livingston is a toun in Polk Coonty, Texas, Unitit States. The population wis 5,335 at the 2010 census. It is the coonty seat o Polk Coonty[3]. Livingston wis settled in 1835 as Springfield. Its name wis chyngit tae Livingston an became the coonty seat o Polk Coonty in 1846.[4]

The Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation is juist tae the east o Livingston. The 2000 census reportit a resident population o 480 bodies athin the reservation.
