Lahti (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈlɑxti], Swadish: Lahtis‎) is a ceety an municipality in Finland.

Lahti is the caipital o the Päijänne Tavastia region. It is situatit on a bay at the soothren end o loch Vesijärvi aboot 100 kilometres (60 mi) north-east o the caipital Helsinki. In Inglis, the Finnish wird Lahti literally means bay an Vesijärvi means watter loch.
