Kotayk Province
Kotayk or Kotaik (Armenie: Կոտայք) is a province (marz) o Armenie. It is in the centre o the kintra. Its caipital is Hrazdan. It is best kent for its warld-renouned beer o the same name.
It is an aa hame tae the heichlie frequentit tourist destinations Garni an Geghard an the popular winter sports resort Tsakhkadzor whaur Soviet Armenian pheesiologist Leon Orbeli wis born.
Kotayk is the anerlie marz that does no border ony foreign kintras. It borders the follaein marzes (provinces):
- Lori - north
- Tavush - northeast
- Gegharkunik - east
- Ararat - sooth
- Aragatsotn - west
In the soothwast, atween its borders wi Ararat an Aragatsotn, Kotayk an aa shares a border wi Yerevan.

The province o Kotayk consists o the follaein 67 communities (hamaynkner), o which 7 (bauld in the table) are considered urban an 60 are considered rural.[1] The diveesion belaw is bi raion, the admeenistrative subdiveesions o Armenie afore 1995.
