The aurie o the ceety is aboot 6,510 acres (26.3 km2). The ceety wis foondit in 1177. It is currently the admeenistrative center o Kolomensky Destrict o Moscow Oblast. Population: 150,129 (2002 Census);[1] 161,881 (1989 Census).[2]
