It serves as the admeenistrative centre o Babushkinsky Selsoviet an aw, ane o the fifteen selsoviets intae which the destrict is admeenistratively dividit. Municipally, it is the admeenistrative centre o Babushkinskoye Landwart Dounset. Population: 4,035 (2010 Census);[2] 4,105 (2002 Census);[6] 4,487 (1989 Census).[7]
