Haarlemmermeer [ˌɦaː.rlɛ.mər.ˈmɪːr] ( listen) is a municipality in the Netherlands, in the province o North Holland. It is a polder, consistin o land reclaimed frae watter, an the name Haarlemmermeer means Haarlem's Lake, still referrin tae the body o watter frae which the region wis reclaimed in the 19t century.

Its main toun is Hoofddorp. It is ane o the lairgest touns (pop. 70,030) in the Netherlands whose name is nae uised as the name o a municipality. This toun, thegither wi the rapidly growin touns o Nieuw-Vennep an Badhoevedorp, furms pairt o the Randstad agglomeration. The Netherlands' main internaitional airport Schiphol is locatit in Haarlemmermeer.
