Gabriel Zamora is a municipality in the centre o the Mexican state o Michoacán. The municipality haes a aurie o 426.98 square kilometres (0.72% o the surface o the state)[1] an is bordered tae the north bi the municipalities o Nuevo Parangaricutiro, Uruapan an Taretan, tae the east bi Nuevo Urecho, tae the sooth bi Múgica, an tae the wast bi Parácuaro. The municipality haed a population o 19,876 inhabitants accordin tae the 2005 census.[2] Its municipal seat is the ceety o Lombardía.
The municipality is namit efter Gabriel Zamora, a Mexican ferm wirker, labor leader, an ceevil richts activist.
