Falköping Municipality (Falköpings kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland Coonty in wastren Sweden. Its seat is locatit in the cety o Falköping.
The present municipality consists o mair than 50 oreeginal local govrenment units, joined thegither in twa structural reforms carriet oot in 1952, when the number wis reducit tae aicht, an durin the period 1971-1974. In 1971 the umwhile Ceety o Falköping wis made a unitary municipality an three years later amalgamatit wi the surroondin municipalities.
