Edith Weston is a veelage an ceevil parish in the coonty o Rutland in the East Midlands o Ingland. It is on the sooth-eastren shore o Rutland Water an is hame o the main sailin club wi a fishin lodge.
The veelage is named efter queen Edith o Wessex (1029–1075), the wife o Edward the Confessor an sister o Harold Godwinson. The kirk is St Mary the Virgin. The veelage pub is the Wheatsheaf on King Edward's Way.
St George's Barracks is locatit tae the sooth an east o the veelage; this wis previously RAF North Luffenham. This haes hoosed the 1st Battalion o the Keengs Awn Ryal Border Regiment but in August 2007 16t Regiment Ryal Artillery, equipped wi the Rapier FSC, muivit here frae Woolwich in sootheast Lunnon.
