Cruces is a municipality an toun in Cienfuegos Province, Cuba. It is the hame o the Mal Tiempo Naitional Pairk which commemorates a battle in the 1895 War o Unthirldom.

The toun wis foondit in 1852 in a place kent as Sabana de Ibarra.[1] The railway reaches the toun in 1855.

The municipality is dividit intae the barrios o Estrada Palma, Mal Tiempo, Marta an Monte Cristo. There wur 5 sugar mills in the vicinity o Cruces, bi its traditional names: San Francisco, Andreita, Santa Catalina, Caracas an Hormiguero.[1]
