Coonty Waterford (Erse: Contae Phort Láirge‎) is ane o the twenty-sax coonties o the Republic o Ireland, an also ane o the thirty-twa coonties o Ireland, located within the province o Munster. It wis named efter the ceety o Waterford (which derives frae the Auld Norse name Veðrafjǫrðr or Vedrarfjord). Dungarvan is the administrative centre o Coonty Waterford. Waterford is the 21st lairgest o Ireland’s 32 coonties in area an 20th lairgest in terms o population. It is the smallest o Munster’s 6 coonties in size an smallest in terms o population.
