Chemerivtsi (Ukrainian: Чемерівці) is an urban-teep dounset in Khmelnytskyi Oblast (province) in wastren Ukraine.[3] It serves as the admeenistrative center o the Chemerivtsi Raion (destrict), hoosin the destrict's local admeenistration biggins. The toun's population wis 5,431 as o the 2001 Ukrainian Census[3] an 5,399 in 2011.[4]
Chemerivtsi wis first foondit in 1565[3] an it receivit the Magdeburg richts in 1797.[5] It receivit the status o a urban-teep dounset in 1959.[3]
