Caguas (Spainyie pronunciation: [ˈkaɣwas]), foondit in 1775, is a ceety an municipality o Puerto Rico locatit in the Central Muntain Range o Puerto Rico, sooth o San Juan an Trujillo Alto, wast o Gurabo an San Lorenzo, east o Aguas Buenas, Cidra, an Cayey.

Caguas is locatit 20 miles (32 km) (twinty minutes tae an oor bi caur) frae San Juan an 40 miles (64 km) (an hour and a half by car) frae Ponce. It is kent as El Valle del Turabo (Turabo Valley) or La Ciudad Criolla (The Creole Ceety) an its name oreeginates frae the Taíno cacique Caguax.
