Bălți is a ceety in north Moldovae, it is locatit 138 km NW o the caipital Chişinău. Bălți is an aa its second lairgest industrial an commercial centre an Moldovae, on the river Răut. The population o the ceety is 144,000 (2011) which grows tae 148,900 in the entire metropolitan aurie [1].
