Asturian (Asturianu, or bable[1]) is a Romance leid o the Wast Iberian group, Astur-Leonese Subgroup, spoken in the Spainyie Region o Asturies bi the Asturian fowk. In Asturies, even though it is no an offeecial leid,[3] it is protectit unner the Autonomous Statute legislation an is an optional leid at schools[4].
