Ale Municipality (Ale kommun) is a municipality in Västra Götaland Coonty in wastren Sweden. Its seat is locatit in the toun o Nödinge-Nol.
Ale Municipality wis creatit in 1974, when the umwhile municipalities o Nödinge, Skepplanda an Starrkärr wur amalgamatit. The new entity got its name frae the auld Ale Hunder, which haed approximately the same territory.
It built ane o the first indoor bandy arenas in Swaden (an subsequently in the warld), which wis the first in Götaland.[1]
