Alafors is a toun an the seat o the municipality o Ale Municipality, Västra Götaland Coonty, Swaden. The day it is considered pairt o Nödinge-Nol, a northeastren neebourheid. It is locatit aff the E45, aboot 30 km north o Gothenburg an approximately 1 km frae the east bank o the Göta River.
In 1970 the toun grew up wi the railwey toun Nol an 1990 wi Nödinge, which the day form an urban aurie, Nödinge-Nol. Alafors contains the Ale municipal biggin, whose facade haes enamel airtwirk bi Endre Nemes. There is a heich schuil, pairk, Ahlafors IF fitbaa club which play at Furulundsparken,[1] an a ski slope. A umwhile spinnin mill wis locatit here which ceased operations in 1966. Swadish daith metal group Eructation wis formit in Alafors in 1988.[2]
