The Akashi Kaikyō Bridge (明石海峡大橋 Akashi Kaikyō Ō-hashi?), an aa kent as the Pearl Brig, links the ceety o Kobe on the mainland o Honshu tae Iwaya on Awaji Island, in Japan. It crosses the busy Akashi Strait (Akashi Kaikyō in Japanese). It carries pairt o the Honshu-Shikoku Highway.
