Acayucan is a ceety in the Mexican state o Veracruz, locatit in the state's southeast, in the Olmeca region. It serves as the municipal seat for the surroondin municipality o the same name.
At the 2005 INEGI Census, Acayucan reportit a population o 49,945.[1]
